Christopher Geier - Sikich Investment Banking
Christopher Geier is Partner-in-Charge of Sikich Investment Banking and Chief Executive Officer of Sikich Corporate Finance. In addition to leading the overall financial, strategic and operational direction of the Investment Banking organization, he manages key client relationships and leads select deal teams. Chris has nearly 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions across disparate industries. He has also provided acquisition advisory to both publicly traded and privately held companies and has led numerous strategic advisory engagements and valuations and has provided expert testimony. In addition, Chris has held senior level operating roles in both private and publicly traded companies.
Prior to joining Sikich, Chris founded GEI Capital in 1993, a distressed business investment management and turnaround consulting firm, and GEI Advisory in 1995, an international mergers and acquisitions advisory and management consulting firm. Prior to that, he was a Regional Manager for MC Sporting Goods with responsibility for a five-state region with 54 retail stores. Chris is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a Series 24 General Securities Principal, a Series 7 General Securities Representative and a Series 79 Investment Banking Representative.
Chris received his M.B.A., from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his B.A. in Criminal Justice, from Washington State University.
