TechNet Appoints Gideon Lett as V.P. for Political and Government Affairs
Washington, D.C. – TechNet, the bipartisan policy and political network of technology CEOs that promotes the growth of the Innovation Economy, today announced the hiring of Gideon Lett as its new Vice President for Political and Government Affairs.

As Vice President for Political and Government Affairs at TechNet, Gideon Lett brings more than a decade of experience in political, government, and public affairs to the group’s advocacy and political action efforts. Most recently a consultant at APCO Worldwide, Gideon focused his practice on issues management and grassroots engagement for high profile issue advocacy campaigns, prominent trade associations, and Fortune 50 companies across a diverse set of industry sectors. Previously, Gideon served as Director of Political Operations at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), where he successfully led the group’s federal independent expenditure programs, directed state and local referenda efforts and counseled many of the organization’s 800 state and local affiliates on government and political engagement activities. Beginning his career in politics at the Alabama Republican Party, Gideon went on to serve as a political aide to candidates at the local, state, and federal levels, including Congressman Mike Rogers (R-AL), former Majority Leader Tom DeLay, (R-TX) Mississippi state Treasurer Tate Reeves (R-MS), and former Attorney General Bill Pryor (R-AL).
Gideon was named a “Rising Star” by Campaigns & Elections magazine, and Capitol File magazine named Gideon one of the Washingtonian’s with the “Best Rolodex”.
