Matt Slavoski

Matt Slavoski serves as TechNet’s Federal Communications Director. Matt is a skilled political communications strategist with nearly a decade of experience working in Congress, campaigns, and the technology policy space. Most recently, he served as Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), where he managed a fast-paced media relations operation and worked to elevate the Senator’s profile as an influential leader in national Democratic politics. Prior to that, he led communications for the Congressional office and 2020 campaign of then-Congressman Matt Cartwright (D-Pa.), where he crafted and executed a comprehensive strategy positioning the Congressman to win re-election even as Donald Trump carried the district that year. Slavoski began his career at TechNet, supporting the federal policy and communications teams and managing the organization’s social media channels. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Saint Joseph’s University.
