Tyler Diers

Tyler Diers serves as TechNet’s Executive Director of Illinois and the Midwest Region. Diers is tasked with driving and executing TechNet’s regional operations and policy development in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Diers has served as an appointed member of the Illinois Future of Work Taskforce and the Illinois Generative AI and Natural Language Processing Task Force. Diers joined TechNet from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Executive Director of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s Technology and Innovation Council, which he launched in 2018, and as the Chamber’s Director of Legislative Relations. Previously, Diers was a legislative analyst in the Office of the Senate Minority leader, where he assisted the Senate Executive Committee and staffed the Senate Local Government Committee. He is a native of the Chicagoland area and a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He currently resides in Chicago.
