Technology was instrumental to Team USA’s success at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Through ongoing support and new innovations, tech empowered Olympic athletes with the data and insights needed to achieve peak performance. With family and fans unable to attend the games, tech also powered the way we watched and engaged with the games across platforms. Learn more in this week’s Tech At Work.

Comcast Provided More Coverage of the Winter Games Than Ever Before

Comcast made watching the 2022 Winter Olympics more accessible and easier than ever before.  Comcast introduced a new, simplified viewing experience across the company’s platforms.  Customers could say “Olympics” into their voice remote to take them directly to live or on-demand coverage.  Comcast also helped fans create a personalized experience, provided an interactive schedule of events, and produced a curated and constantly updated playlist of top highlights, trending videos, and breaking news.  Comcast’s NBCUniversal produced more than 2,800 hours of Olympic coverage across its platforms.

Toyota-Sponsored American Athletes Win Gold

Toyota was a proud sponsor of Team USA for the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing.  Toyota supported top athletes across multiple sports who brought home a gold medal including Erin Jackson in speed skating, Nathan Chen in figure skating, and Chloe Kim in snowboarding.  Toyota supported 16 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes in Beijing.

Salesforce Helped Team USA Improve Performance

Google Created Winter Olympics Viewing Hub

Google TV’s Winter Olympics hub put all Olympic content in one place, making it easy to find for viewers.
