TechNet Secured Major Wins to Support Innovation, Economic Growth, and America’s Global Competitiveness

Washington, D.C. – TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of tech industry CEOs and senior executives, today released the following statement from its President and CEO Linda Moore after Congress passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

“U.S. tax policy should support innovation, spur economic growth, and strengthen America’s global competitiveness. We are grateful that Congress prioritized key provisions in the reconciliation package to support startups and entrepreneurs, enhance research and development incentives, encourage advanced manufacturing in the United States, and reduce unnecessary and inefficient tax reporting burdens. These improvements will further strengthen our economic leadership and help ensure that America remains at the forefront of global innovation. TechNet will continue to work with members of Congress on both sides of the aisle as well as the administration to build on these provisions and support American innovation.”

TechNet sent letters on March 10, 2025 and May 8, 2025, outlining a positive, pro-growth tax agenda, and has worked with key members of Congress throughout the budget reconciliation process to develop key provisions to improve our tax system.
