Washington, D.C. – TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, today urged Congress to pass the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 and raise our nation’s debt limit. The following statement can be attributed to TechNet President and CEO Linda Moore:

“Failing to raise the nation’s debt limit would be catastrophic. We applaud President Biden and Speaker McCarthy for working together on a bipartisan solution that avoids a historic and unprecedented default and creates a workable fiscal path moving forward. We urge Congress to pass this bill and raise the debt limit without delay.”

Earlier this month, TechNet authored a multi-industry letter signed by 18 other leading organizations urging Congress to fulfill its bipartisan responsibility and raise the nation’s debt limit immediately.
